In the framework of the project Russian-Finnish Life Science Park complex research of the Russian life science industry was developed in order to ensure the development of international cooperation between Russian, Finnish and EU SME companies in the sphere of life science and biotechnology.

Russian-Finnish Science Park invites producers and suppliers of various health testing equipment and technologies for equipping project Show-Room, which locates in Kotka Testing Station (www.testausasema.fi).

This spring, a Life Science Accelerator Programme for companies within professional healthcare and life sciences was initiated by The Russian-Finnish Life Science Park in cooperation with Turku Science Park Ltd and City of Kotka.

On 12 of February Russian-Finnish Life Science Park (RFLSP) has organised a master class for Russian companies on international certification of pharmaceutical substances and diagnostic tests (in vitro).

Access to the global markets for manufacturers of pharmaceutical substances and in vitro diagnostic tests becomes faster, clearer and easier with the help of step-by-step instructions prepared in the framework of “Russian-Finnish Life Science Park” – large infrastructure project of the South-East Finland-Russia Cross-border cooperation Programme.

The start of the mission to exchange scientific experience was launched on June 3, at an online scientific conference in the framework of the Russian-Finnish Science Park (RFLSP) project, at which researchers from the USA, Finland and Russia discussed current problems in the field of medical genetics.

Partner meeting for the implementation of the Russian-Finnish Life Science Park was held in Kotka (Finland) on 17 January, 2020.

The round table “Cross-border cooperation. The prospects of international cooperation” was held in the framework of the IX International Forum "Life Science Invest. Partnering Russia" with the support of St. Petersburg Government and Regional APS Engineering Center on November 8, 2019.

The agreement was signed in the course of the meeting between Deputy Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of Saint-Petersburg Andrey Khlutkov and Kotka Mayor Esa Sirviö on September 27.
